Social Media Dangers Seminar - Canceled

Join us on Thursday, April 9 as we host FBI Agent Kevin Kaufman. SA Kaufman will share the dangers of social media and speak about how social media can affect our kids. He will also provide information to help parents keep their kids safe online.

Testing Information 3rd- 5th Grade - Canceled

FSA testing begins next month. As parents and caregivers, you can assist us by ensuring that your child is well rested and arrives at school on time. A good breakfast each morning is also a must. Breakfast will be served at NO CHARGE to students on testing days so plan for an early arrival if you would like your child to eat breakfast at school.

4th Annual Fun Run

All Crystal Lake students will, run, walk, skip, and dance laps around the field in an effort to raise $30,000 to enhance the elementary experience for all students. Parents are invited and encouraged to come to the Fun Run to cheer on their child.

Dear Crystal Lake Families, The FSA will soon be here! The primary purpose of the FSA is to assess student achievement of the higher-order cognitive skills represented in the Florida Standards for Reading, Writing, Mathematics, and Science.  We know that the students and teachers are working very hard in preparation for this assessment.

Save the Date - 5 Essential and SCPS Safety Survey

Save the Date – Mark Your Calendars –Coming in January Snapshot, 5 Essentials and SCPS Safety Surveys Beginning January 21st, parents, students in grades 4-12 and school staff will have the opportunity to take part in the Snapshot Survey. This 3 question, open ended survey will showcase what makes each of our school’s unique. Your input and comments are important and will play a key role in spotlighting innovation and student achievements. On January 21st parents will receive the link to the Snapshot Survey through School Messenger. The survey link will also be available on the SCPS web site.

Dear Crystal Lake Families, Welcome back! It is always refreshing to have some time away from school and work. The time off gives a person renewed energy to tackle the important tasks that need to be done. For both our teachers and students, it was a restful winter break. However, we must now strengthen our efforts to prepare our students for the challenges that are close at hand… the Florida Standards Assessments, coming in the spring.

Parents Night Out Friday, December 13th

Drop your children with trusted adults for an evening full of pizza, movies & FUN! Students can wear their favorite pajamas and bring a blanket to get comfortable during the movie. The proceeds from this event will benefit the kickoff of our 4th annual Fun Run. This is a perfect time to get your holiday shopping and wrapping done.
