Dear Crystal Lake Families,

I hope this newsletter finds you and your loved ones safe and healthy. It was great seeing many of you and the children on Friday, March 27 as we did our Caravan Parade through the community. Please know that you all are missed and hope we will be able to return to school on Friday, May 1st.

As you know, the Governor has extended the closure of schools across the state of Florida through Thursday, April 30, 2020, as one of the protective measures to slow the spread of coronavirus.

Numerous questions have arisen about what this means for students, families and staff; below is the information we have at this time. March 30, 2020 - Distance Learning Extended through April 30, 2020 , buildings are scheduled to reopen Friday, May 1.

Beginning on Tuesday, March 31st, visitors to our SCPS Educational Support Center must make an appointment at least 24-hours in advance.  No walk-in traffic will be allowed until further notice.  Appointment Hour times will be from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Monday thru Friday.  If you do not already know the phone number for the Department or staff you wish to make an advance appointment with, you may contact 407.320.0000 for assistance.

SCPS has 30,000 students on the Free & Reduced Lunch Program. With at-home learning, many students need basic school supplies to support their online learning. You can donate school supplies to help high-need students. These supplies will be packaged into tool kits and given to homeless or high-need students. Supplies can be dropped off at Tools 4 Seminole Schools 1780 West Airport Blvd. in Sanford every Thursday between 9am – 2pm or at East Coast Believers Church 3053 W.
